Stress, Success, & Duck Syndrome:
Caring for Your Well-Being at Work

Does the burden of your to-do list feel heavier than ever? Have you been feeling exhausted, withdrawn, or even cynical at work? Maybe things look great on the outside, but your team isn’t feeling too great, which has led to collective stress and burnout. If so, you could be dealing with duck syndrome—a common phenomenon where you appear cool and calm on the surface, when really, you’re paddling pretty hard under the water to stay afloat.

In this keynote, Tianna harnesses her training in psychology and her experience working in the fast-paced magazine media industry to help audiences manage stress, care for their well-being, and navigate their professional journeys with a greater sense of purpose. Using storytelling, stats, and interactive elements, Tianna creates a non-judgmental space for dialogue about mental health and wellness. Audiences will leave feeling empowered and inspired to practice self-care and community care as they chase their career goals.

Living Between Worlds:
Cultivating Authenticity & Meaning at Work

Whether you’re stepping into a new role, interviewing candidates for your team, or navigating how your organization can work better together, identity matters. People are more than just their professional titles; they are multifaceted, multi-passionate humans who have unique stories to tell. This keynote is designed to help your team recharge and find meaning in their work—while bringing their full, authentic selves to their roles.

As a Puerto Rican, Jamaican-Chinese woman, Tianna understands what it’s like to exist between cultural worlds. She has also worked in a variety of professional worlds, like mental health, magazine media, music, education, and more. Her diverse career path and research on well-being has shown that embracing your unique story and strengths can enhance your sense of meaning and belonging at work (and beyond).

When you feel empowered to be your authentic self, you give others a safe space to do the same. However, in our fast-paced workplaces, we don’t often get the chance to slow down and reflect. Through storytelling, interactive elements, a touch of humor, and a warm, encouraging tone, Tianna inspires audience members to own their stories and embrace what makes them unique—both professionally and personally.

Rediscovering Happiness:
Positive Psychology for the Modern Workplace

Everyone deserves to be happy—including at work. But how do you get there, and if you notice that your team isn’t happy, how do you make a change? Luckily, a roadmap exists for authentic happiness in the workplace, and it’s practical, fun, and backed by science. Science shows that positive psychology is the key to developing happier, healthier employees—because when your team feels good, they do good.

If you can learn to harness the power of five core elements (positive emotions, engagement, relationships, meaning, and accomplishment) the possibilities are endless for your long-term well-being and resilience. In this interactive keynote program, Tianna shares how positive psychology can help busy professionals go from surviving to thriving at work and in life. Through experiential exercises that encourage reflection and creativity, Tianna helps audiences harness the science of happiness to feel more confident, empowered, and aligned in their purpose.
